Trust & Safety

Wellnooz exists because it is difficult to know who to trust. This page explains what we do about that, and what we cannot do.

Licence verification

Every provider and practitioner listed on Wellnooz is verified before appearing on the platform. We check:

  • That the facility holds a valid licence from the relevant UAE health authority — the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Health Authority, or the Ministry of Health and Prevention
  • That each listed practitioner holds a valid professional licence
  • That the services listed fall within the licensed scope of practice

Verification is not a one-time event. Providers must supply updated documents when licences are renewed. Where a licence on our records has expired or is found to be no longer valid, the provider or practitioner is removed from the directory until a valid licence is supplied.

How therapies are presented

Therapies on Wellnooz are grouped into three categories so that you always know what kind of service you are looking at:

  • Treatments — licensed clinical care, delivered by regulated practitioners, for specific conditions.
  • Supporting your recovery — evidence-informed nutrition, movement, sleep and stress support, provided alongside clinical care.
  • Feel-good therapies — services for comfort, relaxation and recovery. These are not treatments for medical conditions and are never presented as such.

What we do not do

Being clear about our limits is part of being trustworthy.

  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
  • We do not assess the clinical competence or quality of care of any provider
  • We do not verify claims about treatment outcomes
  • We do not rank or recommend one provider over another
  • We are not a party to your treatment, and we do not supervise the care you receive

Choosing care safely

  • Tell your doctor about any natural or traditional treatment you are receiving. Some herbal preparations interact with prescribed medicines.
  • Natural and traditional treatment is intended to work alongside conventional medical care, not to replace it.
  • Ask the practitioner about their qualifications, what the treatment involves, and any risks, before you begin.
  • Seek conventional medical attention for anything urgent, severe or undiagnosed.

Raising a concern

If you have a concern about a listing on Wellnooz, contact us at admin@wellnooz.com. We will investigate matters relating to licensing and listing accuracy and take action where needed.

Concerns about clinical care should be raised with the provider directly and, where appropriate, with the relevant health authority, which is the body empowered to investigate clinical complaints.
